The Best Kitchen Storage Solutions
Whether you’re moving into The Vantage Apartments soon or have lived here for years, keeping your kitchen organized no matter how much or how little space you have, is going to make all the difference. Start the back-to-school season off on the right foot by decluttering your space and utilize these storage solutions to keep your space organized!
Lack of Counter Space
If you’re dealing with a lack of counter space, you need to be extra creative with the space you do have. Start by finding a home for the items that are on your counter that you aren’t using regularly. If you have the floor space, consider adding a small island (one on wheels!) to the space.
– Bakers rack
– Foldable island cart
– Magnetic knife holder
Ineffective Cabinet Space
Counters are one thing, but cabinets? Having a lack of cabinets can throw a wrench in your organizational needs. If you’re dealing with a lack of cabinet space, try installing shelving above your stove, movable shelving inside of the cabinets, and/or rearranging the items that are currently in your cabinets. Throw away items that have expired and donate things you no longer need or want.
– Adjustable cabinet shelving
A Full Fridge
Never seem to have space in your fridge? Since you can’t move items out of your fridge into other areas of your kitchen, it’s time to do a deep clean of your fridge. Get rid of any perishable items that you no longer eat, want, or have expired. Once you get rid of those items, if you still have a lot left, eat through them before going grocery shopping again.
Limited Floor Space
If you’re looking for extra storage space in your kitchen but don’t have the floor space for an island or other kitchen shelving, take to the walls! It’ll free up space on your floor while still giving you ample storage space.
